Getting Here
Between Beaches Alaska sits on MacDonald Spit, a unique land formation just across the bay from Homer. We are off the road system so getting here requires either a water taxi or a flight, both of which are an unforgettable scenic transportation option.
The most common ways to get here are:
A) Drive to Homer and take our Water Taxi to Between Beaches.
B) Fly into Seldovia and take our Between Beaches Land Taxi to our property.
As everyone has different travel plans, time restraints, and budgets, we have more detailed transportation options below.

Drive to Homer along one of the most scenic roads in Alaska. If you drive your own car, drive to the bottom of the barge ramp (Add coordinates) and unload your luggage at the waters edge. Then, park at the top of the barge ramp for 7 days of free parking. If you do not have a car, we recommend two shuttle services to get you to Homer. While in Seldovia, we will shuttle you to and from town in our Between Beaches Land Taxi, which is 60$ round trip, 30$ per trip.

Flying is a great choice of transportation as you will get to your destination faster with incredible aerial views along the way. If flying is your transportation of choice, you have a few different options depending on where you are coming from and where you are going. Rust’s Flying Service leaves from Anchorage and can drop you off at your cabins doorsteps. They fly a float plane and will land in Kasitsna Bay. Rust’s can also land in Homer and Seldovia. True North Air will fly from Anchorage to Seldovia. Ravn Alaskan and Aleutian Airways run regular routes from Anchorage to Homer. Remember, if you fly to Homer you will still need our Water Taxi to bring you to Between Beaches. If you fly to Seldovia, our Between Beaches Land Taxi will pick you up from the airport.
