Pioneer Cabin
The Pioneer Cabin, built in 1959 has a unique Alaskan history and was named to commemorate, Kristi’s parents Jack and Jo McLean’s pioneering spirit. This historical original homestead cabin faces the inside beach of Kasitsna Bay adjoining Kachemak Bay. Recently, lovingly restored and filled with distinctive special touches it speaks of times gone by and hardy adventurous people. Peacefully rest and rejuvenate in this nostalgic cozy cabin and enjoy rare luxuries of this remote location. From your cabin window or seated in your private beach area witness extraordinary sunrises over the water, stunning landscape and abundant wildlife.

Cabin Details:
This historical original homestead cabin has been lovingly restored and faces the inside beach of Kasitsna Bay. Featuring a vintage propane oven and stove, toaster, electric kettle and a coffee machine is also provided.
Pots, pans, French press and essential cooking items plus crockery and cutlery are also provided. Adjoining the cabin is your own private indoor flushing toilet and your own private outdoor shower.
Grill outside using your own propane BBQ with utensils outside your cabin door while watching the wildlife in Kasitsna Bay.
Remember to bring your groceries, we have no food service at Between Beaches and we are a $30 taxi ride away from Seldovia.
